At Maheno School, our bus run is designed to collect as many eligible children as possible. There are rules from the Ministry of Education about how the run can be set up. Our route can always change in the future as locations of students change but you would have plenty of notice well in advance if this was going to happen.
If your child is eligible for the bus we will let you know. For those who are eligible we can not guarantee a door-to-door service for our stops and it is parents responsibility to get your child to and from the closest bus stop. Sometimes students who aren't eligible can use the bus service but special criteria needs to be met for this to happen. The beginning of this process starts with a query to the Principal and please bear in mind that places aren't often available.
